Dr. Criddle's passions are emergency, trauma, neuro, transport, and critical care. She is board certified in emergency nursing (adult and pediatric), trauma nursing, orthopedic nursing, gerontological nursing, critical care (adult and pediatric), neuroscience nursing, stroke nursing, flight nursing, and nursing professional development. Laura holds advanced practice certifications as an adult acute care clinical nurse specialist and as a critical care clinical nurse specialist.
Dr. Criddle has been a clinical nurse specialist since 1990, practicing as an emergency, trauma, flight, or neuroscience CNS at 5 health care organizations across the country. Throughout her career, Laura has cared for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations and has published over 100 journal articles, books, and book chapters covering a wide range of topics. She regularly speaks to health care audiences across the country. Dr. Criddle is a fellow of the Academy of Emergency Nursing, former chair of the Academy, case review editor for the Journal of Emergency Nursing, and a former editorial board member for the Journal of Trauma Nursing. Laura has held academic appointments at 4 universities and colleges and is the co-founder of TCAR Education Programs where she currently works as a clinical nurse specialist and serves as the company's chief clinical officer.

Mr. Brock serves as the company's Chief Executive and Learning Officer. He is a veteran leader who has worked with startup, mid-sized, and fortune 500 companies in business and technology. Robert began his career in industrial television where he produced, directed, and edited scores of training and informational productions for corporate and ad agency clients. For the past 20 years, Mr. Brock has served in line, executive, and consulting management positions helping organizations establish, structure, or improve their business and technology strategy, programs and operations.
Robert is certified in executive coaching, personality and leadership/team performance assessments, project management, Agile software development and is a Lean Six Sigma green belt. Mr. Brock holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Marketing, a Master of Science in Computer Systems Design & Management and Robert is currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Psychology. He is an ATD Master Instructional Designer and Advanced Online Learning Practitioner.

Jennifer Fritzeen brings 20+ years of pediatric experience to TCAR Education Programs. Ms. Fritzeen earned her master's degree in nursing as a pediatric clinical nurse special from Indiana University with a focus on pediatric emergency medicine, pediatric critical care, & pediatric burn medicine. Jennifer is a board certified trauma nurse and pediatric clinical nurse specialist. Since 2009, she has been the trauma and burn program manager at the prestigious Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
In addition to teaching multidisciplinary trauma communication courses, Ms. Fritzeen has served in faculty positions for the schools of nursing at the Catholic University of America in Washington DC and at Indiana University in Indianapolis. Jennifer has authored and coauthored numerous professional publications and is a popular lecturer at pediatric conferences throughout the United States.

Dr. Goodell hails from Oregon and brings to TCAR Education Programs over 30 years of experience as a trauma ICU staff nurse, nurse educator, and trauma program coordinator. Teresa has taught nursing at Oregon Health & Science University, Walla Walla College, & Linfield College, among others. Dr. Goodell's particular areas of interest are trauma intensive care, wound care, and care of older adults. Teresa has served as associate director of the Hartford Center for Geriatric Nursing Excellence at Oregon Health & Science University and as research scientist at the Oregon Medical Laser Center.
Dr. Goodell is a board certified adult clinical nurse specialist, trauma nurse, and wound care nurse. In addition to her clinical and teaching practice, Teresa has directed and participated in numerous research projects, has published many peer-reviewed articles, and speaks throughout the country on multiple nursing care topics.

Bonnie McCracken graduated from Montana State University with a BS in nursing. She practiced in Billings, Montana for a year before taking off to see the country as a traveling nurse. After gradually migrating to Northern California, Bonnie returned to school and eventually graduated from the University of California, Davis nurse practitioner/physician assistant program. Bonnie's first position as an advanced practice nurse was in a combined internal medicine and OB/GYN practice. Bonnie later accepted a job at the UC Davis Medical Center, in Sacramento California where she has been providing care to trauma patients for the past 23 years.
Ms. McCracken recently retired from her position as the manager of nurse practitioners for the UC Davis Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Service and Associate Director of NPs. As part of her role, Bonnie regularly instructed and mentored UC San Francisco and UC Davis student nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical residents. She teaches alcohol screening and brief interventions at hospitals. Bonnie also advises hospitals about nurse practitioner utilization for trauma and emergency surgery.

Chris McKenna has spent her entire 33 years+ nursing career caring for pediatric trauma patients. She graduated with her BSN from Indiana University and obtained her initial experience on the pediatric surgery/trauma unit at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Chris then obtained her Masters of Science in acute care pediatric nursing from Boston College, and worked as the pediatric trauma coordinator in three hospitals with combined adult and pediatric trauma programs. Chris graduated from the pediatric nurse practitioner program at the University of Pittsburgh in 1997 and is a board certified pediatric primary and acute care nurse practitioner. She was the first nurse practitioner hired by the Division of Pediatric Surgery at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, and worked for the trauma program there beginning in 2002, first as a nurse practitioner, then as a trauma coordinator, and finally as the trauma program manager since 2006. Since 2017 she has worked as a nurse practitioner caring for surgery & trauma patients.
Ms. McKenna has held many nursing leadership roles including as Treasurer and then President of the American Pediatric Surgical Nurses Association, President of the Allegheny County Safe Kids Coalition, President of the Pennsylvania Trauma Nurse Advisory Council, Co-Chair of the Trauma Special Interest Group of the American Pediatric Surgical Nurses Association and Co-Chair of the Pediatric Special Interest Group of the Society of Trauma Nurses. She is currently a reviewer for the Journal of Trauma Nursing and the Journal of Pediatric Surgical Nursing. She co-edited the first edition of the textbook Nursing Care of the General Pediatric Surgical Patient and is the co-author of the most recent chapter on Pediatric Trauma.

Marianne Miller, a board certified trauma nurse, brings to TCAR Education Programs an extensive background in both pediatric and adult trauma care. Ms. Miller's 20+ years of trauma experience range from the bedside care of critically injured children to case management positions at a level 1 adult trauma and burn center and an acute spinal cord injury rehabilitation program. Most recently, Marianne served as the trauma coordinator at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Ms. Miller’s responsibilities included performance improvement, accreditation standard compliance, nursing education, and outpatient trauma clinic management. She has also been the lead author of multiple clinical effectiveness guidelines and co-investigator in various pediatric studies. Marianne's passion for lifelong learning and nursing excellence led to her to pursue a master's degree in nursing education from Chatham University. She currently serves as adjunct faculty for RN-to-BSN nursing program at Chatham University in Pennsylvania.

Yvonne Prowant has over 40 years of nursing experience caring for trauma patients in critical care and emergency department settings. She is board certified in both trauma and emergency nursing. Combined with her bedside care experience, Ms. Prowant's master's of management degree has given her the skills to lead emergency departments and trauma programs. Ms. Prowant currently serves as director of the trauma service line for a level 2 trauma center in Wyoming (Grand Rapids area) Michigan.
Yvonne is an avid learner and teacher who makes concepts practical and uses adult learning principles to find teachable moments. She has long been a TNCC instructor and is a popular lecturer at nursing, management, and academic programs. In addition, Ms. Prowant has experience as a business success coach and a staff development educator.
Senior Program Coordinator
Renee coordinates all the details in setting up and delivering each TCAR and PCAR class. She works with our faculty, sponsoring medical facilities, and participants in resolving scheduling, contracting and registration issues. Renee has experience in shipping and receiving, trade show event coordination and is educated in Business Administration from Western Business College.
Logistics & Travel Coordinator
Christine is responsible for healthcare facilities outreach, faculty travel support, and collateral production. She also provides support for shipping and receiving. Christine has experience in operations processes, customer service and bookkeeping.
Kim is our staff accountant and is responsible to ensure that our day to day customers' and vendors' financial transactions are accurate and money flow is recorded and reconciled. She has over 20 years accounting experience in several different industries, including the A/P department of a large hospital, as well as over 30 years' tax experience. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and is enrolled to practice before the IRS. She is married with three children and ten grandchildren.
John oversees the creation and development of all our visual assets. This includes our offline collateral (such as brochures, trade show material and course delivery artifacts.) Before joining TCAR Education Programs he earned his BFA in Illustration and Design from PNCA. Since graduating he has worked freelance with clients as varied as a children's book publisher to the Multnomah County Bar Association to U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley.
Prior to joining our Art Department, Jon David worked in the animation industry in Portland, primarily for LAIKA, Bent Image Lab and House Special. He obtained a degree in graphic design from the University of Oregon, and went on to work in graphic design and business firms before landing at Will Vinton Studios in 1999. Career highlights include working on such films as ParaNorman, The Boxtrolls, Kubo and the Two Strings, many animated commercials, as well as independent films, music videos and projects, including designing the logo for the City of Beaverton that was used from 1993 to 2013. Jon David loves to draw, create cut tissue paper illustrations, work with metal and pursue his automotive restoration passion.
Victor earned his BFA in graphic and web design from The Art Institutes of Portland before coming to Visionem to assist in creation and development of our visual assets.
Lead Software Developer
Steve is a veteran technologist with over 30 years of software development experienced. He comes to us from ADP Dealer Services. There he worked on Automotive software applications including Manufacturing, Data Communications and the Service application. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business administration from Portland State University. He is married with three children and two grandchildren.
Tim is a software junkie and father of four. His passions include his family, Japanese language and cuisine, anime, writing, C++ game development in the Unreal engine, and 3D design. He loves all things electronic, and has always had a deep fascination with how things work starting with the very first line of Transformers toys, and manifesting in him being a self-taught, highly-motivated software engineer and IT specialist. Tim has been working with programming, computers, networking, and helpdesk support since 2000. His recent projects include custom software solutions for customer / client management and scheduling systems.
Matthew is passionate about technology, the role it plays in our daily lives and how we interact with it. He is an advocate for continued education and believes the best thing one can do is expand their knowledgebase and hone the skills they’ve accrued. Web development and geeking out on Raspberry Pi projects are favorite pastimes as well as spending time in nature and playing board games with friends.
